Academy Awards Night in Dolton Heights
I will admit I rarely if ever watch the Oscars, but I do like to see the
stars all glitzed up walking the red carpet. So this year I decided to set
up my own scene for the occasion.
VOICEOVER: Hi I'm Denton Shaw live on the redcarpet at the Awards Show. Here we are at the entrance viewing the stars all dolled up (pardon the pun}for the big event. I can't tell you how much in awe I am over seeing all these
big stars in person! Oh look there's Richard Silkstone the MC for the event.
Let's see if we can get an interview with him. "Mr. Silkstone" he calls but
Richard keeps walking.
Couples on the Red Carpet
Beth and Peter Silkstone.
Denton continues unabashed by the brush off: "Look here comes Richard's
younger brother Peter Silkstone who is up for an award tonight. With him is
his wife Beth, who he met while making this movie. It would be nice to see
him win for best actor."
New young couple arriving at the awards.
Now let's go inside for the show!

Does he look nervous? LOL

Valentines
A BELATED HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY
Brianna and Chris took us out for dinner Thursday night, and after we got home and everyone was in bed I decided to play for a bit. I brought out two playline Valentine Barbies (actually found 3, that's why the population changed), and redressed my Monte Carlo On Location doll and Suite Retreat. They got the Bond and July birthstone gowns. Diane-doll is wearing her Dolton Valentine Ball gown. Hope you all had a nice day!

More Fun In the Snow
Well today was a lovely day to go outdoors and play. Yes we had lots of snow! But it was sunny and actually quite warm. The snow was thick and wet but I didn't even need a coat! As you can see the Venetians had a great time out in the snow.
Climbing the hill. The snow was waist deep and so climbing the hill proved to be quite a struggle. Don't worry I put plastic bags over the dolls feet and legs so they would not get wet and damaged! Actually the snow is hip deep on me! At least I didn't need doll stands LOL
Here Ashley is going to be a dare-devil and try going down head first! At least it will be a soft landing LOL

Fun In the Snow
As I mentioned on the Yahoo Blog I took a couple of Venetians out to play in the snow. By the time I got them dressed and the snow shoveled (into a hill) it started to get dark. So I didn't have time to bring everyone out to play like I wanted. Tomorrow hopefully I will be able to set up the whole scene. Meanwhile here is Anthony and Ashley out tobogganing. Climbing the hill! Boy this is hard work!
Here we go!!!
Can't you just hear Ashley screaming all the way down the hill! LOL
I had trouble positioning them and didn't want to force bending her legs in case they broke in the cold.
